Ski Trail Tips

  • Check with Visitor Center for ski trail conditions and updates.
  • Use trails equal to your ability.
  • Please do not use sleds, bring pets, or hike on ski trails. This will ensure that trails stay properly groomed.
  • Each ski trail has a one-way flow pattern. For safety, please follow posted directional signs.
  • Dress warmly and in layers, so that clothing may be taken off or added.
  • Ski on marked trails, unless you are experienced and have a map and compass.
  • Avoid night skiing, unless you are familiar with the trail and have a good head lamp.
  • You or a member of your group should carry a spare ski tip. It is a long walk back from Nordic Lake.
  • Slower skiers should step to the trail's edge when approached by a faster skier. Please yell "TRACK" to alert slower skiers before passing.
